Miss Lipscomb was born in 1817 in the Mississippi Territory and died on December 17, 1879 in Mobile.  Her

Father was Abner Smith Lipscomb who served as a State Representative from Washington Co., Alabama,

the first Supreme Court Justice of Alabama and a Supreme Court Justice of Texas.  Her Mother was

Elizabeth Gaines.  She married Percy Walker, a Physician, Attorney, and Criminal Court Judge from Mobile.
