Miss Douglas was born in 1812 in Connecticut and died on April 15, 1891 in Dallas Co., Alabama.  She married Archelus Hughes Mitchell, a Methodist Minister.  He was born in 1807 in Georgia and died on October 3, 1903 in Dallas Co., Alabama.  They are buried in Childers Cemetery near Summerfield in Dallas Co., Alabama
